It was a sudden change of plan to give Siem Reap a 1 more night to spend it with. Even if we are on a budget trip, we wanted also to experience a bit of luxury that is equally pocket friendly.
While scanning through Agoda.com, I came across this hotel/resort. The pictures were quite convincing and it has a made good reviews to those who stayed in these bungalows. So I thought we should give it a try and booked it for 1 night. We got it for 2,740php with the following inclusion:
- a bungalow room good for 3 pax
- a fresh fruit platter upon checking in
- another fresh fruit platter for snacks
- one way airport transfer
- and a sumptuous breakfast for 3
It could have been a lot cheaper if you booked it in advance. As of this writing, if you are to book it 3 months prior,it will only be around 1,400php! so much difference ei.?
The outside of the hotel wasn’t very appealing, it kinda looks like a provincial house with its own fruit and vegetable produce on the side and turn it into a bungalow hotel. But when we enter, we were greeted by the view of a calming pool. We were excited to plunge in! hahah.
The hotel/resort was small. It has only 6 bungalows. Imagine how intimate and private your stay will be without the noise and buzzling street.
We checked in at the hotel earlier than expected, when we arrived, our bungalow was still being set up. While waiting, the staff gave us a cold wet towel to freshen up and an individual small platter of fruits. Coming from a humid stroll along Angkor Wat gave us a fresh feel while wiping the cold towelettes on our faces. Ahhhh, fresh feeling!
We went to our rooms in awe. It was a very cute and charming bungalow. The interior was spotless clean with a homey feel due to its wooden design.
We had a very relaxing afternoon. It was worth it! I would definitely recommend this hotel/resort to anyone. The staffs were very helpful and accommodating. They will always attend your needs and actually asks there guests from time to time if they need something.
The breakfast was also delectable.
All in all, It was indeed a value for money. If your’e planning to travel to Cambodia, one needs to try and experience there hotels/resorts with pool.
You may book them at Agoda.com.
